How to Make Your Sales Campaign Feel Like a Christmas Countdown

Imagine a kid at Christmas who gets angrier and angrier the closer December 25th gets. They would be crazy, right? 

Almost no kid is *upset* at the anticipation of Christmas. Christmas should be a great day for kids; family, toys, and great food. What’s not to love? 

Your client wants to feel that way about your product, but they need some help. Let’s figure out how to make your sales campaign feel as happy as Christmas day!

Avoid the Eye Roll

Don’t send so many emails that your client feels like her inbox is clogged and her eyes are going to roll out of their sockets. Be intentional about what you send and make sure it adds value to your client’s life. No one wants emails with empty messaging or filler language. 

Think of what would make you roll your eyes when you open your email on a cold Tuesday morning, and then do the opposite. 

Have Fun 

While your sales campaign is for your business, that doesn’t mean you can’t have fun with it! Write a catchy subject line, add some creative promotionals or printable materials. Incorporate some holiday cheer to make a unique point that’s relevant for this time of year. 

Give your client something to work with. Relax a little bit. 

Remind yourself why you do this work in the first place. Tap back into your passion and then get to work.
